What Happens If My CryptoPot Payout Fails? Our Guarantee Explained
The old problem — and why we built around it
The previous version of CryptoPot had a known, documented flaw: when a payout failed, it failed silently. The platform had no automatic detection for failed transactions, no admin alert, and no recovery process. Winners who didn't receive their USDT had to contact support manually, and even then there was no guaranteed resolution path.
That problem is gone. The new CryptoPot was built specifically to eliminate silent failures from the payout process. Here is exactly what happens when something goes wrong.
What we guarantee
- Every payout attempt is logged before it is sent — recipient wallet address, amount, payout type (major winner / consolation / affiliate), and timestamp are all recorded in the database before the transaction fires
- Every failure is flagged automatically — if a payout transaction does not confirm successfully, it is marked as failed in the admin panel immediately, not discovered later
- Nothing is dropped silently — a failed payout stays in a pending/failed state until it is either retried successfully or manually resolved by the admin team with a logged note
- Winners are never left without a resolution path — the admin panel surfaces every failed payout for review and action
How the payout process works
Understanding why failures are caught starts with how the payout flow is built.
When the Sunday draw completes, the system calculates every payout — major winner, consolation prizes, and affiliate earnings — and writes a record for each one to the database before any funds move. This record includes the exact wallet address that will be used.
Those records are then submitted as a batch via NOWPayments mass withdrawal. Each individual transaction in the batch is tracked. If a transaction fails — due to a network issue, an invalid address format, a NOWPayments API error, or any other reason — the corresponding payout record is updated to a failed status automatically.
The admin panel shows all failed payouts in a dedicated view. The admin can then:
- Retry the payout — resubmit the transaction to the same wallet address
- Mark as manually completed — if the payout was sent through an alternative method, the record can be closed with a written note explaining what was done and when
Every action taken on a failed payout is logged. There is a complete, timestamped audit trail from initial attempt through to resolution.
What causes payout failures?
Most payout failures fall into a small number of categories:
Network congestion or timeout — the Binance Smart Chain occasionally experiences high traffic that causes transactions to time out. These are almost always resolved by a retry within minutes to hours.
Invalid or unreachable wallet address — if a player registered an address that cannot receive BEP20 tokens (wrong network format, a contract address that doesn't accept transfers, etc.), the transaction will fail. This is the most common cause of unresolvable failures.
NOWPayments API issue — rare, but if the payment processor experiences downtime during the Sunday payout window, transactions may not be submitted. The system detects this and flags the affected payouts for retry once the service is restored.
Insufficient BNB reserve for gas — extremely unlikely given the reserve maintained for gas costs, but if the platform's BNB balance were to run critically low, transactions could stall. The admin panel monitors reserve levels and alerts before this becomes a problem.
What you should do if your payout hasn't arrived
If you won in a draw and your USDT has not arrived within a reasonable time after the draw (typically within 1–2 hours of the 8:00 PM AST draw time):
Step 1 — Check your wallet on the correct network Make sure you are looking at your USDT balance on the BEP20 network specifically. If your wallet app shows multiple networks, switch to BNB Smart Chain. USDT sent on BEP20 will not appear in your ERC20 or TRC20 balance view.
Step 2 — Check BscScan Go to bscscan.com and search your wallet address. You will be able to see all incoming BEP20 token transfers. If the payout was sent, it will appear here even if your wallet app hasn't refreshed yet.
Step 3 — Check your registered wallet address Log into your CryptoPot account and confirm the wallet address on file matches exactly where you are checking. Payouts go to the address registered at the time of the draw — not any address you may have updated after the fact.
Step 4 — Contact support If you've checked all of the above and the payout is not visible on-chain, contact CryptoPot support through your account dashboard. Provide:
- Your account email
- The draw date
- Your registered wallet address
Every payout attempt is traceable. If it was sent, there will be an on-chain record. If it failed, there will be an admin-side record of the failure and the resolution status.
What we will never do
- Drop a failed payout without logging it
- Absorb a failed payout into general funds
- Ask you to pay any fee to receive your winnings
- Claim a payout was sent when it was not

The broader commitment
Failed payouts were the most embarrassing and trust-destroying flaw in the old CryptoPot. Every design decision in the current build — the pre-write logging, the automatic failure detection, the admin retry workflow, the immutable audit trail — exists because of that history.
We cannot guarantee that every transaction will succeed on the first attempt. Networks have issues. APIs go down. But we can guarantee that no failure goes unnoticed, no winner is forgotten, and every failed payout has a documented resolution path.
That is the commitment.
